The Talk
The New York Times named Hyderabad as one of the 41 must-visit cities of 2011 across the world. It is recognised that higher tourism can only improve the ecology, health and wealth of any place. Hyderabad, and indeed India, have yet to really gain fully in the tourism potential already existing and there still is a long way to go for Hyderabad to become an international destination.
What is the government doing to make Hyderabad a must-visit destination? What are the major hurdles in that happening?
What do intelligent, caring citizens suggest to make it happen?
In this meeting, Jayesh Ranjan, Secretary, Tourism, Government of AP, will offer an overview of government initiatives. And, for a good part, he will listen to members offering him their thoughts on taking Hyderabad forward to becoming an international destination.
