Ahmad Rashid Shervani is an educationist who has worked tirelessly for the education of secondary and senior secondary students from marginalized segments, specifically women students. He comes from a family of freedom fighters.

Thousands of his articles and reports have been published in various Urdu, Hindi as well as English journals and newspapers. He served as a member of the National Commission for Minorities, Govt of India from 2003-2006.
