Is the food we eat safe ? What is the role and effect of pesticides on our food? What is the effect of pesticides on farmers and farming?
Dr Ramanjaneyulu, who was featured in Satyamev Jayate, was the right person to learn from, and debate with, issues critical for our health.

Dr Ramanjaneyulu has a B.Sc (Ag) and M.Sc(Ag) from Acharya NG Ranga Agriculture University and Ph. D in Agriculture (Extension) from Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi.

He has worked with Directorate of Oilseeds Research, Indian Council of Agriculture Research as Scientist for 8 years.
Earlier selections include Indian Revenue Service.

Currently Executive Director, Centre for Sustainable Agriculture, an organisation with many years of field experience in establishing and promoting sustainable ecological farming in Andhra Pradesh.
He has provided handholding support to govt. of AP in promoting Community Managed Sustainable Agriculture which involves making best use of farmers’ knowledge, skills and local resources. The program involved in promoting Non Pesticidal Management, community managed seed banks, organic soil management etc in 225 acres in 2004-05 to 7 lakh acres in 1800 villages in 2007-08. CSA also designed the institutional systems and build management systems and capacity building systems at various levels. Today the program is implemented in more than 10 lakh acres in 3000 villages and managed by the community based organisations. The success of this model is widely acknowledged and it was the first proposal to be approved under the latest ‘Rastriya Krishi Vikas Yojana’ announced by the Prime Minister of India with Rs.182 crore support in 2007-08.
